Keith Darin, Principal with Capright, has been active in the real estate industry since 1997.

Mr. Darin has personally completed or supervised valuation assignments encompassing all types of commercial properties in 35 US States, the District of Columbia, Canada, Mexico, and Europe. These assignments have been completed for a variety of purposes including financial reporting for pension fund requirements, asset management and portfolio monitoring, collateral financing, estate and gift taxation, property tax appeals, purchase and sale advisement, marital dissolution, bankruptcy proceedings, litigation support, condemnation, purchase price allocation, and property insurance placement purposes. These assignments have been prepared for a wide range of clients including pension funds, pension fund advisors, investment advisors, corporations, life insurance companies, developers, national and regional financial institutions, conduit lenders, mortgage loan servicers, attorneys, and accountants.

Mr. Darin has extensive experience in the valuation of commercial properties in the major asset classes of industrial, office, retail, multi-family, and hospitality. In addition, Mr. Darin has appraised large-scale manufacturing facilities, vacant land, mixed-use developments, residential subdivision developments, residential condominium developments, senior housing and assisted living facilities, manufactured housing communities, self-storage facilities, automobile dealerships, restaurants, gasoline stations with convenience stores, churches, schools, ice rinks and funeral homes.

Prior to joining Capright, Mr. Darin spent 11 years with Stout Risius Ross, Inc., most recently serving as a Director in the Real Estate Advisory Services practice of the Valuation and Financial Opinions Group in the Chicago office.
