Melissa M. Brown

Melissa Brown, Director with Capright, has been active in the commercial real estate industry since 2006.

Ms. Brown has completed appraisal assignments in 19 US states and has a wide variety of appraisal expertise including the major asset classes of retail, office, industrial and multi-family. In addition, Ms. Brown has appraised churches, manufactured housing communities and self-storage facilities. These assignments have primarily been completed for financial reporting for pension fund requirements, asset management and portfolio monitoring and for collateral financing. The assignments have been prepared for a wide range of clients including pension funds, pension fund advisors, investment advisors and national and regional financial institutions.

Prior to joining Capright, Ms. Brown began her real estate career at MB Real Estate, working in property management, where she assisted in the management of day-to-day operations of nearly 500,000 square feet of office space in the Chicago area.
