Nina A. Owen, MAI

Nina Owen, Managing Director with Capright, is the firm’s hospitality practice leader.  She brings over 25 years of experience in hospitality valuation and consulting, as well as hotel operating experience, to her role.  Ms. Owen is one of the nation’s leading experts on the valuation of hospitality assets including hotels, resorts, golf courses, marinas, waterparks, and casinos.  In addition to valuation services, she has extensive experience with consulting engagements including value enhancement studies, feasibility studies, due diligence and litigation support.

Prior to joining Capright, Ms. Owen spent a significant portion of her career in the valuation and advisory practices of Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE where she completed assignments for a range of institutional, corporate, and individual clients for purposes of financial reporting, mortgage financing, acquisition and deposition, tax appeal, and purchase price allocation.

Ms. Owen is an active member of the Cornell Real Estate Council (CREC) and the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network.  A respected thought leader in her practice area, she has authored several important articles and whitepapers and is a highly sought speaker for industry events.
