The 2019 Realizing Returns college race is getting interesting as we are in the final stretch of the year! Congratulations to Lehigh University for having the best public portfolio in Q3 with a return of 11.80% and Monmouth University achieving the best private portfolio return with 3.62%. Public REITS enjoyed strong returns as they retreated from a stock market that soared to new heights. Furthermore, data center REITS continued to be the darlings of the public markets, with a whopping 15.10% quarterly return! On the private side, outperformance came from Industrial in the Eastern Region and Hotel in the West. In the overall race, the University of South Alabama has a narrow lead at 25.50% over Stanford University at 24.95% and the University of San Diego at 24.30%.
