In this first release of the NCREIF Property Index (NPI) since the advent of the Coronavirus, participants examined which property sectors and geographic areas were impacted the most by dissecting cap rates, NOI growth, occupancy and other determinants of returns. With the help of guest speakers from Hines and Capright, insights into the extent that COVID-19 has already been reflected in the values this quarter and whether there is more to come based on what has been occurring in the market since the quarterly appraisals were completed will be discovered.
