To date, Mr. Kennedy has completed over 500 valuation assignments encompassing all types of commercial real estate across the US and Mexico. Mr. Kennedy has extensive experience in the valuation of commercial properties in the major asset classes of industrial, office, retail, and multi-family. In addition, Mr. Kennedy has appraised vacant land, life sciences facilities, medical office buildings, self-storage facilities, restaurants, and gasoline stations with convenience stores. His experience includes engagements that have been completed primarily for financial reporting for pension fund requirements, asset management and portfolio monitoring, purchase and sale advisement, and collateral financing. These assignments have been prepared for a wide range of clients including pension funds, pension fund advisors, investment advisors, corporations, national and regional financial institutions, and mortgage loan servicers. Prior to joining Capright, Mr. Kennedy was an Associate at Walden-Marling, Inc., where he also focused on real estate valuation.
Prior to joining Walden-Marling, Inc. Mr. Kennedy was an Acquisitions Executive at ORIX Real Estate Equities, Inc., where he was responsible for the valuation of office, industrial, and retail properties and portfolios ranging in size from $20 million to $500 million. Before joining ORIX, he completed acquisitions of more than 70 commercial office properties encompassing more than 5.0 million square feet. Additionally, he completed acquisitions of land, industrial, residential properties, and special- purpose properties.
